General Requirements

MVAPACK is a free software available for the general public. The package is for use typically with linux based systems. This is due to other software used in NMR is also based in linux systems.

The GNU Octave program is free to the general public.

NMRPipe is required for loading Bruker or Agilent data files.

This package may be usable through a Virtual Machine on a Windows based system. (Group Note: It would be good to get a Working setup that others could easily download and setup for windows.)

MVAPACK Download

You may request a copy of the MVAPACK software by filling out this form.

Select the version you would like to install.

Versions before 2020 require Octave 4.4.1
Versions after 2020 require Octave 6.2 or newer. These versions contain the GC/LC-MS processing line.

MVAPACK Installation

MVAPACK exists as a package for the Octave software. Refer to the manual on Installing Packages.

The tarball will need to be accessible and type:

$ octave
octave:1> pkg install mvapack-theversion#.tar.gz
